Padmaavat box office collection Day 1: Sanjay Leela Bhansali film earns Rs 19 crore

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus ' Padmaavat ' which stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead, finally released on Thursday, amidst tight security.
According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, the film has collected an estimated Rs 18 crore on its first day at the ticket window. This sum comes in despite a few state distributors deciding to collectively not screen the film.
